hello,

I read the all thread, sorry for late reply after 10 days.

I see that you still did not submit any proposal on the GSoC web site,
and tonight is deadline.

The main problem is that the wiki page you have been looking at is
very outdated, and I don't think we have anyone from the community
willing to mentor a OpenIMP project (as you can see from the silence
in mailing list).

Moreover, you have a very strong curriculum in technical knowledge,
but this year we are trying to push the "community profile". We would
like to involve people active in the community.
Do you have any experience in community networks and or freifunk ?

we are interested in this mainly because we dont want that people feel
that GSoC is like a job, but it more like a chance to get involved in
the Freifunk community and stick to it once the GSoC programs has
finished.

btw if you have your proposal ready it is a good idea to submit it
now. Deadline for submission is in a few hours. It might be possible
we find a last minute mentor for the IPFIX related project.

best regards

Saverio
