Often is the best way to contact the main developers of the software
you made improvements on, describe your improvements and ask for their
inclusion into the their official distribution.

Mentors are diverse and from different open wireless communities. We
will distribute according to concrete ideas proposed based on their
experience and knowledge with the given idea. I do not know who
proposed the idea for active and passive measurements.
