                    We want to ask if we can fabricate ours and adapt it.and which is the best material are we to use for the canntena.which is the best alluminium or a metal sheet .We will do it to the size indicated in the book.

you may solder the outer braid of the coax cable to the cans. This will 
work also but you should make sure that

a.) water doesn't find a way to creep into the cable

b.) it is mechanically robust


Do you have means to seal it (hotglue etc.)?
