Hi Alex,

I think I'll stay with UML. I like doing things in my way as you know ;-) 
Doesn't look too complicated - something around udevtrigger I presume. And 
it doesn't need extra (vmware|qemu) stuff in RAM...

We have good experiences in using the x86 port in qemu. It is known that
some OpenWrt developer are doing the same.
