[WLANware] wifi_proto=olsr?

Hi Dan,

this is a special case. Ifaces to be added to /etc/olsrd.conf are detected
via wifi ip range. All ifaces in that range are added. Special case: the
wifi is not driven with the full netmask e.g. as master or client in a
pointopoint. To add e.g. ethernet manually you can set mode=olsr. Have I
mentioned this is special?

Hi All,

I just yesterday noticed that the Freifunk Firmware has "olsr" as an option
for the nvram variable "wifi_proto". I can't check a real freifunk box
right now, so can some give me an idea of what this option does? How is it
different to "wifi_proto=static"?

Dan
