Dear Wireless Community,

>From Tanzania Mr. Sekiku send me a vacancy in Uganda.

Nice Job for some WiFi geek.

When I was young, unmarried, had no mortgage and no kids, and an
unfulfilling job I would go myself. :-)

Peter.

A Community Wireless Resource Centre (CWRC) is being established under the
Department of Electrical Engineering with the general objective
to provide or enhance sustainable Internet connectivity infrastructure,

technology.

As its flagship project, a total of six community wireless networks,

implemented in three regions of Uganda. The concept of community wireless
networks is based on the possibility for groups or communities to
build self-owned and operated communications networks. The project will use
equipment based on the IEEE 802.11 protocol for wireless networks,
and operating in unlicensed frequency bands.

The CWRC seeks to recruit a project officer who will be engaged in technical
planning and will participate during implementations in the field.
