Hello Pablo,

Roger is the right person to mentor you, because he might be not very
expert in Gnome, but he knows what kind of software the Guifi.net
community needs and he can give you guidelines about that.
Also Roger can find who is expert in Guifi.net about Gnome and make
you in contact.

If you are looking for a more specific technical mentoring, you could
also think of submitting your idea to the Gnome organization that is
also participating in GSoC. For sure there you can find some very
expert person in Gnome that can mentor for you. This would be also
important because if you make patches to Gnome and you dont want to do
a useless work, to you need to take care that your partches are merged
into Gnome code one day.
