Have a look at this example which is taken from my router. The 
mesh-network is 10.22.0.0/16, the wired connection is 10.22.255.16/30. 
Configure the interfaces like this:

Protocol: static
IP-Adress: keep the old IP (i.e. 10.22.255.17)
Netmask:  keep the old Netmask (i.e. 255.255.255.254)

The setting to enable OLSR "on the wire" has moved to the OLSR-Page: 
"OLSR-Network" (ff_range).

If this field is empty olsrd runs only on the wifi-network interface.

As far as I understand, you have to enter both networks (wired and 
wireless) in this field, if you want to run olsrd on both interfaces. In 
my example, ff_range should be "10.22.0.0/16;10.22.255.16/30"

This worked well for me, even between different firmware versions 
(1.6.36 / 1.7.0).
