yepp, this image works fine on the M5 devices. Just put the nano in
recovery mode (push reset, power on, hold the reset button for at least
10 seconds) and thransfer the image using tftp.
We tested ap, sta and ad-hoc mode successfuly, but there are some
pitfalls you should be aware of:
- adhoc is slower thant ap/sta (our test showed ~19MBit/s vs. 27MBit/s
on the same test environment)
- running olsr on the wan interface (eth1) fails (NLQ is 1, LQ 0). We
"fixed" this problem by switching wan (=eth0) and lan (=eth1) in
/etc/config/network, but this causes other problems (no dhcp on the
lan/eth1 interface, extreme slow wan connections - about 1/10th of the
wlan-speed)
- there are some regulatory issues as well
Especially because of the olsr-issue, we're running AirOS on the M5
devices now.
