[WLANware] current state of wrt54gls in a Mesh/

Quick question:

A wrt54gl only mesh -- kamikaze is out because of bssid splitting;
freifunk is the way to go but no version 3 batmand for freifunk.  (I had
previously tried experimental  batmand on freifunk before it was released
as 'stable' and it completely froze the routers.) what are freifunk plans
for batman v.3? why does batman experimental lock up freifunk routers?

Any thoughts on putting up a 10 Meter pole for an omni? (how deep and wide
the hole should be, any how-to's?)
