Yes, we are using commercially 3 and 4-radio devices.
Two/3 radios for meshing and one for the laptop-AP.

It is a difference like day and night 8-)
For instance look at funkfeuer.at - they do it
nearly the same way and achieve >1megabyte/s
from/to internet over some hops...
