Hi everybody,

Freifunk Darmstadt has fixed some issues with the router firmware and is
going to order a big batch of routers on Wednesday.

Everything seems to be working and we want to expand the network. Even if
you live a bit outside Darmstadt, it's alright to join Freifunk
Darmstadt -
we have nodes in places as far as Langen and Pfungstadt.

These are the two TP-LINK models we are going to order:
 * 2.4GHz: WR842ND (max. 28â?¬)
 * 5GHz: WDR4300 (max. 52â?¬)

NanoStations and similar devices still have to be tested, so we won't
order
any for now.

If we order many routers, the prices will be lower (but we cannot estimate
how much). Those are the "worst-case" prices.

Please email me until Wednesday noon if you are interested.
