März 2015 veröffentlichte Entwurf zur Änderung des Telemediengesetzes (TMG) wird nach Ansicht der Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb) das Ziel – die Förderung des Angebots öffentlicher WLAN-Netze durch Klarstellung der Haftungsregelungen – eher behindern als fördern. Zudem weicht der Entwurf stark von den Empfehlungen der Europäischen Kommission aus dem Jahr 2013 ab.
