</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=DE link="#0563C1" vlink="#954F72"><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Hallo zusammen,<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal>manch einer erinnert sich vielleicht, dass es bei der AC Mesh Probleme gab, sobald man LEDE über eine bestimmte Kernel-Version (ich glaube so um 4.4.90 rum) geupdatet hat.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Entsprechend habe ich heute auch hier mit meiner FW basierend auf dem OpenWRT-Master mit Kernel 4.9 getestet:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Direkt nach dem Update über WebUI war die AC Mesh erstmal tot. Keine LED an, gar nichts.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Per TFTP konnte ich keines der Freifunk-Images flashen, aber die Original-Firmware ging.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Ausgehend von der Originalfirmware habe ich dann per mtd nochmal das neue Image geflasht und war erfolgreich (!).<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Die AC Mesh läuft jetzt scheinbar stabil mit der Kernel 4.9 (w5mesh war auch kurzzeitig aktiv und hat funktioniert, ich habe es nur dann deaktiviert, weil die AC Mesh draußen hängt):<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><a href="https://monitoring.freifunk-franken.de/mac/f0:9f:c2:dc:c3:38">https://monitoring.freifunk-franken.de/mac/f0:9f:c2:dc:c3:38</a><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Mir stellt sich jetzt natürlich die Frage, ob eine neuere Kernel 4.4.x Version auch laufen würde, wenn man ausgehend von der Original-Firmware mit mtd flasht. Allerdings waren die Symptome unterschiedlich:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Mit 4.4.x hat das Upgrade an sich immer geklappt und die AC Mesh ist gestartet, aber dann waren keine Module geladen (ich musste immer per ssh linklokal%eth0.3 drauf).<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Bei 4.4.x auf 4.9.x war das Ding hingegen einfach voll gebrickt.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>So weit, so gut, ich werde die AC Mesh jetzt erstmal mit der neuen FW laufen lassen.
